San Jose State became the first university in the history of Campus MovieFest to have four out of a possible sixteen films make the finals of the CMF International Finale taking place at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles.
The four films making in the finals showcased the diversity of creative thought at SJSU, ranging from a comedic film about tight jeans to honoring those lost serving in the military. The four films were also nominated for specific categories:
Tighter Than You – Nominated for Best Comedy
Twins McCallister – Nominated for Best Drama
Bus – Winner, Best Director
Hungry – Winner, Best Drama
