Alumni Association Deans’ Scholarship applications are now available. Two outstanding students from each college will be selected to receive an award of $1,250. Qualifications include:
- Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Demonstrated commitment to community service of involvement in student activities
- Enrolled during the spring and fall 2010 semesters to apply and receive the award
Apply online* and select the Alumni Association scholarship designated for your college. All applications must be submitted online through the STARS program* to be considered for the award.
The deadline to apply is Friday, March 19, don’t delay!
Since 1975, the San José State University Alumni Association has awarded scholarships to students who excel in their academic studies and actively participate in the betterment of their communities through volunteer work.
These 14 scholarships, in the amount of $1,250 each, represent one of the largest individual scholarships offered by any alumni organization in the California State University system. They are funded by a scholarship endowment and supported by the generous donations of alumni and friends of SJSU.
