The Marriage of Figaro
Did you know that Opera San Jose got its start at SJSU? That is right, Opera San Jose first opened as an opera workshop created by former Metropolitan Opera star and SJSU alumna, Irene Dalis. Over the decades, Opera San Jose has built a national reputation for excellence as a resident company of principal artists.
Because of this special connection, Opera San Jose is offering SJSU Alumni a 20% discount on single show tickets for their upcoming Mozart production “The Marriage of Figaro”, opening February 6, 2010. Alumni Association members can use the discount by showing your member card at the box office or by calling 408-437-4450 and providing your member number.
